This is the 2017 Amnesty UK London Region Conference at the Human Rights Action Centre, 17-25 New Inn Yard, London EC2A 3EA.
Join us on Saturday 28 October from 10:30 to 16:00 for an inspiring opportunity, helping Amnesty activists and the general public to meet and discuss globally important issues, exchange ideas, and find out more about the largest human rights movement in the world.

Panel discussion and Q&A on the future of activism in the age of terror, featuring:
Dr Panos Kapotas, senior lecturer at the School of Law at Portsmouth Business School
Cat Rainsford, Communications Officer at Peace Brigades International UK
Ruth Bredall, Chair of Amnesty UK, on the latest news and developments in the global movement following her visit to the recent International Council Meeting in Rome.
Donatella Rovera, Senior Crisis Response Adviser at Amnesty International, on what it’s like to live a day in the life of an Amnesty researcher working at Amnesty's International Secretariat, and the potential challenges they face.
A review of the latest activities from Amnesty UK’s Thematic Networks including the highlights from UK Prides attended by representatives of the LGBTI Network, and exciting news about the development of a network campaigning again st the death penalty.
Engaging workshops on human rights in post-Brexit Britain; supporting refugees through Amnesty’s ‘I Welcome’ campaign and other organisations, as well as creative activism and fundraising.
Amnesty Marketplace: stalls run by dedicated activists with loads of great campaign materials available to take away.
