Write for Rights and carol singing - Tuesday 9th December

Our next event is carol singing and Write for Rights on Tuesday 9th December.

You are welcome to come to all or part of the evening and everyone is invited. This is a social before Christmas and not a meeting.

We will be carol singing at Clapham South tube station (while collecting for Amnesty) between 5pm and 7pm. Song sheets and collection tins will be provided be we always welcome more singers so please spread the word. (Enthusiasm is more important than talent.)

We will then move to Gigalum - a bar near the station for Write for Rights. Write for Rights is Amnesty’s annual global letter writing marathon for people whose basic human rights are under attack. Every December, Amnesty supporters like you write millions of messages to change lives worldwide. Your words will help release prisoners of conscience, bring torturers to justice and change laws to protect people's freedom. Please join us there from 6pm. All the materials for this will be provided.

Gigalum, 7-8 Cavendish Parade, Clapham Common Southside, London, SW4 9DW
