Carol singing and Write for Rights - Tuesday 18 December

Carol singing and Write for Rights - Tuesday 18 December

Join us on Tuesday 18th December for some Christmas carol singing at Brixton tube station to raise money for Amnesty. We'll be there from 5pm-7pm and you are welcome to come at any time for ten minutes or two hours. You do not need to know how to sing! Just wrap up warm and everything else (collection buckets, hymn sheets etc) will be provided. We'll be at the top of the escalators so you can't miss us.

Straight after the carol singing we’re heading to Streatham Quaker Meeting House (directions below) for Write for Rights. Every year this campaign is run over November and December and it involves writing messages of support to people around the world who have suffered injustice, and show that we support their campaigns for justice. This campaign works and it's so easy to do. Everything you need for Write for Rights will be provided so just turn up on the night (possibly with a bit of change for our postage costs). Feel free to bring along whatever seasonal fayre takes your fancy.

We’ll be at the Meeting House from 7.30pm – 9pm.

Please email lambethamnesty@gmail.com if you have any questions.
