Event: Why should the UK keep the Human Rights Act?
Barrister Martha Walsh will join us at our meeting on Tuesday11 October to address the question "Why should Britain keep the Human Rights Act".
As usual we meet at the Friends Meeting House , Worthing Road beginning at 8pm.
Martha is a barrister with West Gate Chambers in Lewes. She has considerable eperience both as a prosecuter and as a defence lawyer where she is often requested to act fo vulnerable clients and in cases which demand sensitivity. She also has significant experience in cases with an immigration element. Martha is currently an associate tutor at the University of Sussex.
