A festival, a carnival, a garden party, and a walk with George Orwell.

The Amnesty International Hillingdon Group has four exciting events planned for this summer:

 

Ickenham Festival

When: Sat 14 June, 1-5pm

Where: Vyners School, Warren Road, Ickenham, Middlesex UB10 8AB

What:  We will have a stall at the festival - come find out what causes Amnesty International are supporting or taste one of our delicious home-baked goodies.

Sponsored Walk

When: Sun 22 June, 2pm

Where: Meeting point Beck Theatre (car park), Grange Road, Hayes, Middx UB3 2UE

What: A gentle walk of approx 3kms in Hayes, observing where George Orwell stayed in Hillingdon. The aim is to raise as much money as possible through sponsorship and we would value your support. The route will be mostly flat, and we will stop midway in the hotel where Orwell stayed.

Garden Party

When: Sun 6 July

Where:  Sally’s House, Ickenham (3 minute walk from Ickenham station)

What:  Everyone welcome to this mostly social event. Bring and share lunch.

 

Hayes Carnival

When: Sat 12 July, 1:30-5:30pm

Where:  Barra Hall Park, Freemans Lane, Hayes, Middx UB3 2NH

What:  We will have a stall at the carnival - come find out what causes Amnesty International are supporting or taste one of our delicious home-baked goodies.
