Talk On FGM
Four leading experts on the subject of tackling female genital mutilation will be discussing this important issue at an online event on Wednesday 9 September. The guest speakers are:
- Aneeta Prem, founder and lifetime president of the Freedom charity
- Hoda Ali - a nurse and anti-FGM activist who leads a ground-breaking safeguarding project in 18 primary schools. She is co-founder of The Vavengers, an FGM awareness-raising group and an FGM survivor herself.
- Leethen Bartholomew, the head of the National FGM Centre.
- Charlotte Proudman, a barrister who specialises in FGM.
Organised by Hammersmith & Fulham Amnesty Group, this event will take place on Wednesday September 9 at 7.30pm.
