We do not have a formal meeting in December - but this does not mean that Chippy Amnesty members are resting! We're busy writing more cards and letters for this year's Write For Rights campaign and preparing the decorations for our Amnesty tree which you will be able to see at the Methodist Church's Christmas Tree Festival, from Thursday 28th November until Sunday 1st December - we're hoping to win your vote for your favourite tree!
Our recent Christmas card sales in Burford, Charlbury and Chipping Norton have been very successful, with takings amounting to almost £450 and lots of people due to receive an Amnesty International card!
And now we are looking ahead to 2020 and starting to plan an exciting Meetings Programme with interesting speakers and workshops in the pipeline. We launch 2020 with our AGM on Thursday 9th January. Do join us then and let us know what you would like us to include in our programme. Make a note in your 2020 diary that we meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in Chipping Norton's Lower Town Hall. See you there!
