Helping refugees

Our next meeting is on Thursday 14th April, as usual in Chipping Norton's Lower Town Hall, from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.  You will be cross if you miss it!

We are to be joined by 2 two members of the Charlbury Refugee Action Group.  The plan is to have an informal session with plenty of opportunity for discussion, questions and answers.  To arm yourself with some background information, and to help us to focus on the future rather than the past, please, if you have access, take a look at the Action Group's web page, https://www.facebook.com/charlburyrefugee, for a glimpse behind the headlines.

Be warned, this is grim reading!  What does it tell us about Human Rights in Europe and the United Kingdom?  Are we guilty of double standards?

Members of Chipping Norton Amnesty have already collected and donated items of food and clothing which have been delivered to refugees in Dunkirk, Calais and Idomeni.  Come and learn what more we might do.
