Write For Rights next Tuesday (28th), CB2 Bistro

Apart from our regular meetings, on the second Thursday of each month at Jesus Lane Friends House, Cambridge City Group also meet most months in a sociable setting, upstairs at the CB2 Bistro, Norfolk Street, 7:30 pm, to write on behalf of prisoners of conscience and other individuals at risk. Details appear on our Facebook page mid-month.

On Tuesday, 28th January,  we’ll concentrate on Israel/Palestine
and will work on several cases, including one about a Palestinian village, Nabi Saleh, whose inhabitants have held regular peaceful protests
against the Israeli occupation. The Israeli army has responded violently and two of the protesters have been killed with many others injured.

No writing experience necessary. Have a coffee or beer; have a chat; we bring writing materials, case notes, examples, and addresses;
 just bring yourself — or, if you like, details of any additional actions (not necessarily conected) you’d like the group to work on.
