Write letters against the death penalty on Tuesday 13th May 7:30pm
The letter writing meeting will focus on urgent actions for individuals at risk of being executed and anti-death penalty campaign actions.
We will be writing letters against he mass death sentences in Egypt (Click here for info and/or e-mail action), but also with regards to executions set to take place in Iran, USA (Texas) and the United Arab Emirates.
By writing a letter, you can challenge the practices that lead to human rights violations and bring about change. Newcomers are welcome - no previous letter writing experience required! Information, writing paper and envelopes supplied (but please bring a pen). You are welcome to bring and pass on information about cases in other countries. Donations to cover the cost of postage are welcomed.
