Letterwriting meeting Monday 30th September
7.30pm at CB2, Norfolk street
If you have never written an Amnesty letter, or if you have done so very often, please join us to write letters focussing on anti-death penalty cases. We'll be upstairs as usual with case information, pens and paper.
By writing a letter on behalf of someone who is a victim of human rights abuse, you can challenge the practices that lead to human rights violations and bring about deep and lasting change. Writing letters with other members of the Amnesty International Cambridge City group makes it not only a more social occasion, but also provides an opportunity to discuss cases and thus gain a deeper understanding of the issues.
