69 cards written for Write for Rights

Despite the fog and rain, and fuelled by mince pies and mulled wine, 11 of our supporters wrote 69 cards and 62 petitioning letters to heads of state to highlight the cases of the people who are receiving cards this year.

We know from feedback from Amnesty International that our actions do make a difference, so if you would like to send a card or a letter, the campaign continues to the end of December and details can be found on the Amnesty International UK website

LOOKING AHEAD:

Thursday 12th February: Meeting in Ormiston Rooms, Melrose: Mary Taylor will share some of her photos and stories from her recent trip to Israel Palestine.

Saturday 23rd May: Fundraising Coffee Morning in Melrose

Thanks to you all for your support this year, with best wishes for a peaceful 2015
