The distinguished photojournalist and human rights campaigner Cinzia D'Ambrosi will be giving a talk in Hammersmith on Wednesday October 9th at 7.30pm about her work to raise awareness of the mistreatment suffered by refugees in Europe. Her Hate Hurts project investigates and exposes violence by European governments’ own security forces against refugees and asylum seekers. This event is organised by Hammersmith and Fulham Amnesty Group and the venue is the Hammersmith Quaker Meeting House, 20 Nigel Playfair Avenue, W6 9JY. It is wheelchair accessible. The event is free and open to anyone, not just Amnesty members, so please do spread the word and encourage your friends, neighbours and family to come along too.
