Personal testimonies, letters, poetry and prose written by individuals at risk are a powerful tool to shine a light on some of the most egregious breaches of human rights worldwide. But sometimes, telling your story is just too great a risk. Fiction can provide a gateway into a dangerous world, allowing readers to understand the lives of others. Today we showcase fictional characters experiencing real world events. Chaired by Pauline Kelly.

Authors Reading: Claire Askew, Sophie Cameron and Daniel Mella.
