Violent conflict is the leading cause of suffering and extreme poverty in the world today, and the largest single driver of fragility and of humanitarian need.  Hosted by Edinburgh-based global organisation Mercy Corps, the readings will represent the voices of people who are living through conflict, and provide us with a sense of their hopes, dreams, and how they are coping through war.  Chaired by Simon O'Connell, Executive Director, Mercy Corps. Chaired by Simon O'Connell.

Authors Reading: David Almond, Lynne Jones, Sean Taylor and Özlem Warren
