Chechnya: stop abducting and killing gay men
Scores of gay men in the southern Russian republic of Chechnya have recently been rounded up, tortured and some even killed as part of a government-led, coordinated operation. Some have likened it to a 'prophylactic sweep' used to prevent the spread of contagious diseases. Chechen officials have denied the existence of gay men altogether let alone take responsibility. Take action now to safe guard the LGBTI community in Chechnya.
