Amnesty HoursIndividual Giving Prospect Research Volunteer
The Major Donor Team (MDT) is based in the Marketing Department at Amnesty International UK and has primary responsibility for managing AIUK's relationship with high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations, and companies.Effective individual prospect research is vital to help Amnesty identify potential sources of funding and develop relationships with our existing donors. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated research volunteer to assist the Data and Research Manager and help gather and analyse biographical, financial, corporate and philanthropic information from a wide variety of sources.
Our volunteers are vital to the success of our team. We try to integrate our volunteers as closely as possible into the team structure and, as such, the successful candidate will be invited to attend team meetings and other Amnesty events.
The post would ideally suit someone with strong organisational and prospect research skills who is eager to gain experience of prospect research, information management and/or major donor fundraising.
