UK: Women's human rights and fundamentalism

Amnesty International UK will host a public debate on women's human rights and fundamentalism at its Human Rights Action Centre (Shoreditch, East London) on Wednesday 10 May.

Invited speakers will discuss discrimination and violence against women across all countries, cultures and religions. The debate will pose the question 'What impact is religious fundamentalism having on women's human rights?'

The debate will begin at 7pm at Amnesty International UK's Human Rights Action Centre, 17-25 New Inn Yard, London EC2A 3EA.
