Major Gifts Manager (Individuals) 50K+
Amnesty International UK (AIUK) is a global movement of ordinary people from across the world standing up for humanity and human rights. Our purpose is to protect individuals wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied.This relatively new and critical role is at the forefront of our ambitious growth plans. You will be responsible for working with senior Amnesty colleagues to solicit very substantial gifts that benefit our human rights work across the world. You will develop and manage an effective strategy and key to your success is building good working relationships with existing and potential new donors, managing major donor events and designing and implementing creative fundraising initiatives.
Fully signed up to our aims, you will have significant experience and success of fundraising from high net worth individuals. An excellent, confident communicator and persuader, you have a strong desire to ask for donations, strategic planning skills and can manage and motivate others.
