April 2024 Meeting

Hope everyone is keeping well.

Just to confirm that next Monday's 8th April meeting will take place in the normal manner - both online and face to face (Trinity Methodist Church, Brewery Rd, Woking, GU21 6DB) starting at 7:30pm. Please let us know if you need online login details.

The main content of the meeting will be to discuss our Amnesty Quiz, 20 April at the Maybury Centre.

We need to promote the Quiz as much as possible between now and then as we have only a few tables booked so far and the room I think will cater for over 150!  Thanks to those who have already bought tickets.  In addition to this, myself and Jen recorded a plug on Radio Woking which aired yesterday morning which may bring in some additional purchases (fingers crossed)! Jen, Lynda, Keith and I have all distributed the leaflets in various establishments (Maybury Centre, cafes in Woking, Lightbox, Woking Debates, Christ Church, Friends House, etc.).. so I think now it's a case of calling upon our trusty friends and families!

In addition to the Quiz, we will also go over our main activities for the next few months (e.g., topics for meetings, AGM resolutions and the AGM itself, sign some letters, etc).
