Sutton Amnesty at the AIUK 2023 AGM

Our Chair attended the Amnesty International UK AGM at the AIUK Office in London on 24 June and presented a motion asking the AIUK Board to put more resource into supporting local AI groups, particularly those that are struggling. This was overwhelmingly passed, as was the one to update and improve the AIUK website over the next year. These two resolutions were a joint collaboration between three London Region Amnesty groups: Mayfair & Soho, Westminster & Bayswater and Sutton Amnesty.

The AGM was also an opportunity to network, particularly with the Chair of the Board, Sen Raj, other Board members and Country Coordinators.
