June Diary

June monthly meeting, Wednesday June 10th at 7.30 p.m. at the Friends’ Meeting House, 37, Maidenhead Road, Stratford on Avon. We have an important and topical subject for this evening's meeting, Hannah Slater, AIUK’s Country Coordinator for Syria, will speak about ‘Human Rights in Syria’. Everyone interested in this subject will be very welcome.

Thursday, May 28^th – 10 – 12, letter writing for individuals at risk, join us for this drop-in session at at The Falcon Hotel, Chapel Street, Stratford on Avon.

June 15^th - 21^st  2015 Refugee Week: Refugee Week is a UK-wide programme of arts, cultural and educational events and activities that celebrates the contribution of refugees to the UK and promotes better understanding of why people seek sanctuary. Amnesty International UK is proud to be a partner of this multi-agency project. This year, the theme of Refugee Week is “celebrate”, and we are inviting you to discover and share hidden stories of contributions from refugees to the UK throughout history to the present day.
