Exciting Amnesty concert in Willand

We had a wonderful annual Amnesty concert in Willand last Saturday evening, raising around £1000 to help with our postage writing letters in support of human rights defenders, and contributing funds to Amnesty International UK. 70-80 people of all ages enjoyed a wide variety of contributions from amazingly talented local people, including folk/jazz/classical music and songs, and some inspiring poetry readings. Many thanks to John Eschle, the guiding spirit behind the evening's organisation, and all others who helped and supported us on the night.
