About this group

Welcome to the website of the Mid Devon Local Group of Amnesty International. The Group covers Tiverton, Cullompton, and the surrounding villages and rural area.

We support a number of Amnesty International prisoners of conscience, contacting them, and also relevant officials and government personnel; and we support peaceful human rights activists and groups. We also try to raise awareness of the work of Amnesty International in the local area, by fundraising and holding special events. And we run a regular stall at the monthly Uffculme Farmer's Market.

We have around 16 active members, and welcome any prospective new members to come along to any of our monthly meetings.

We meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7.30pm, usually in the Methodist Church in Halberton near Tiverton. Please telephone 01884 821291 for further details.
