Amnesty International has been fighting torture for over 50 years and campaigned hard for the creation of the UN Convention against Torture 30 years ago. Torturers are now international outlaws and 155 countries have signed up to the UN Convention. But since 2009 we have had reports of torture in 141 countries. Amnesty wants to break the silence and let people know what is happening
