Guatemala screening and Q&A: The Echo of Pain of the Many
Date: Tue 3 September 2013
On International Day of the Disappeared,, all are welcome to a free screening at our London HQ.
Feature documentary The Echo of Pain of the Many follows writer/director Lucia Cuevas as she records her return to Guatemala from exile in the UK, in an attempt to find those involved in the abduction, torture and murder of her brother and his family.
Along the way she meets other families of those who disappeared during the 36-year civil war in Guatemala, as they also search for justice following the discovery of previously undisclosed police records.
After the screening we'll have a Q&A session with Lucia.
