To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Amnesty will be bringing out three new books on this topic during the coming year. All the articles of the Universal Declaration are magnificently illustrated in We are all born free, an amazing new picture book out this autumn, for children from 6 years old.
In 2009, two collections of short stories concerning human rights were published, one specifically for teenagers and the other for adults.
The books endorsed or published by Amnesty cover a great variety of topics. On this page, activists, teachers, children, and book-lovers will find the perfect read to learn about, understand, teach and take action for human rights.
