The sign up process: how it works

The London Marathon is an extremely popular event, and competition for places is high.

We have a limited number of charity places, where you'll have to meet a fundraising target of £1,800. Your hard-earned funds will go towards protecting human rights where they are denied around the world.

Apply for a marathon place on Team Amnesty

We welcome applications for the London Marathon until October 2013.

You can run for Amnesty with a ballot place

If you are one of the lucky runners to have secured a place in the public ballot, you can still support human rights as you run! Just let us know - we'd love to welcome you to the team. Email run@amnesty.org.uk

Why run with Amnesty?

Sign up to Team Amnesty and you'll get fundraising packs and tons of ideas of how to raise cash as you warm up for the big day - as well as training tips and schedules, and of course your running vest.

All the support is ready: all that's missing is you!
Apply for a place on our team today

We'll stay in touch in the run up to the big day, and will be on call should you have any training or fundraising questions.

At the marathon we'll be there to meet you when you arrive, make sure you're all set for the start and cheer you along the route. Once you've reached the finish line, we'll be there to give you a rest, a complementary sports massage and meal with your running teammates.

We know the commitment that running a marathon entails. And Amnesty couldn't exist without people like you, supporting others around the world denied their human rights.
