Santa Run with Team Amnesty

Sunday 9 December 2012

5k or 10k - the choice is yours!

Get into the festive spirit with this popular run round London's beautiful Greenwich Park

We've filled our 100 places for this year's Santa run!

No need to scale a chimney or sky dive with reindeer to take part in this work-out with 2,000 Santas of all shapes and sizes - Santa suits provided!

Your run, walk or jog around Greenwich Park will help us to continue defending human rights around the world.

It's not the winning, it's the taking part in a distinctive red suit that counts

The annual Santa Run is a highlight in our events calendar! A great and festive day out, you'll join thousands of Santas fundraising for their chosen cause.

The Santa Run is not a competitive event and you don't have to be an experienced runner to get involved, but we do recommend you go for a few runs of a similar length in the weeks leading up to the Santa Run.

Why not run as a group?

Stepping into the big red suit can be a lot more fun alongside a group of friends, colleagues or relatives! Plus, you can keep each others' spirits up on a morning run or on a group lunchtime jog. This is a sociable event - the more, the merrier (ho ho ho)!

The minimum age for this event is 8 years old - so little Santas 8 years or older are welcome to run with their families too!

How to register

Decide whether you're up for 5km or 10km, get some friends together, and get ready for a memorable day out. With only a £20 registration fee, and a just-raise-what-you-can sponsorship, it's an easy way to get involved with Team Amnesty, with none of the blisters or training schedules of a marathon!
