Magazines (two awards available)

A vividly written and illustrated magazine article can have a profound effect on its readers, giving an in-depth assessment of an issue in an eye-catching and unforgettable way.

This category is open to articles published in both consumer magazines and magazine-style weekly or monthly UK newspaper supplements.

Entry Guidelines

  • An article, or series of up to three articles, published in a consumer magazine, or a magazine-style weekly or monthly UK newspaper supplement
  • We will accept a maximum of three articles if they form part of a series
  • If entering more than once, you must complete one form per entry
  • You must answer the three synopsis questions on the entry form
  • Please do not send further supplementary material or information as this will not be considered
  • If you have problems completing the form please call 020 7033 1544

As well as completing the form, please post the following to 17-25 New Inn Yard, London, EC2A 3EA:

  • Eight printed full colour copies of each article with details of the date published
  • A CD including pdf files of the article

Important: Please have the following information to hand BEFORE you begin as the entry form cannot be saved:

    1. Full title of entry
    2. Publication date
    3. Background information on the entry including: How the idea for the piece came about, what challenges were encountered in producing the piece, how it helped to further the understanding of the issues covered, what impact it had (i.e. number of viewers/listeners and their response, government reaction, policy change, etc)
    4. Name of journalist/reporter
    5. Title of magazine
    6. Credit or debit card details
    7. A high res copy of the logo of the publication your entry appeared in (if appropriate)
