International TV and Radio

This category is for international broadcasters with a platform in the UK and has attracted an impressive range of entries. From undercover filming in the heat of a government crackdown in Bahrain, to programmes focusing on less 'newsworthy' issues such as an examination of the blasphemy laws in Pakistan, the standard of entries in this category is consistently high.

2012 winner: Bahrain: shouting in the dark, Al Jazeera English, Jon Blair, May Ying Welsh
