Youth Raise-Off 2011
A huge thank you to all the schools and youth groups who took part in the 2011 Youth Raise-Off competition!

THE WINNERS
BEST FUNDRAISERS (>10 MEMBERS)
The fantastic Freman College who raised £3,153.45 through a variety of activities including an Amnesty week, a quiz, a live lounge event and selling fish and chips.BEST FUNDRAISERS (< 9MEMBERS)
The tremendous Tonbridge Grammar School who raised £2,115.10 from putting on a disco for Years 7 & 8 as well as a pantomime. It just goes to show even without a big group you can make big money!BEST FUNDRAISING EVENT
The amazing Stranraer Academy who held a Rock for Rights gig raising £850. Over 150 people attended the event with four bands and members of the group speaking passionately about human rights.
MOST REGULAR FUNDRAISERS
Last but not least, we award this prize to Ashford School, who held an amazing 11 events including a Tie and Tights day, a rock concert, a raffle of the Righteous Reindeer of Rights and recycled numerous mobile phones and ink cartridges. Overall they raised £1,060.42.
SPECIAL MENTIONS
Langley Park School for Girls who raised an incredible £2,800 in just one day from their first non-uniform day in 15 years and Gateways School who held a Streets of the World fashion show and auction with foods from all around the world and raised £500.
