Student activists play a vital role in Amnesty's campaigns - they are often our most active members, showing an amazing amount of creativity and enthusiasm in all they do, and making a big impact on campus and in their wider community. Amnesty student's commitment and hard work is highly valued and celebrated by the movement.
The Student Action Network campaigns are co-ordinated through regular communications, events, information and support. Their are over 100 groups in the network, and each stands up for human rights and makes a lasting contribution to the work of Amnesty in their own way.
Here are some of the resources and events we provide for student groups:
Monthly campaign action packs of campaign info, ideas for action and resources including free films, posters and other publicity materials - Fresher's Fair packs to make the most out of the autumn Fair on your campus
- Greeting Cards Campaign packs to send messages of hope to individuals at risk and human rights defenders around the world (Nov - Jan)
- Invitations to Amnesty Student Conference the inspirational event where Amnesty student group members from across the UK come together to hear international speakers, learn more about human rights, take collective action + vote for the next Student Action Network Committee
