How is the money used?
Raising funds for Amnesty can literally change lives.
The money you raise means we can stand up for human rights wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied.
Hundreds of people have been released following appeals and campaigning work - here's how your money makes a difference:
- £10 helps pay for Amnesty International to send petition letters
- £20 helps pay for a research mission to investigate mass abuses of human rights
- £30 helps pay for Amnesty to hold a teachers' training session to encourage human rights education programmes in schools
- £50 pays for travel costs for community activists, so that they can meet company officials to discuss human rights abuses linked to the company's activities
Every year, we receive messages of thanks and solidarity that show the positive effects of our work and prove that, together, we can make a difference. Read our success stories
