The Peter Benenson Memorial Fund
When Peter Benenson, Amnesty's founder, died in 2005, he left an extraordinary legacy. Amnesty has become the world's largest independent human rights organisation, with more than 1.8 million members and supporters in 150 countries and territories around the world.
By supporting the Peter Benenson Memorial Fund, you will be honouring the spirit of a remarkable individual who stood up for justice and humanity and helping to keep his vision of a fairer world alive for future generations.
The Fund will raise much needed income for the work Peter began in 1961 - protecting people all over the world at serious risk of human rights abuses. It will also support projects aimed at inspiring and educating young people to become activitsts of the future.
If you would like to discuss ways of giving and how you could help to further Amnesty's important work to protect human rights, please contact the major donor team on +44 (0)20 7033 1654 or email pbmfund@amnesty.org.uk
