Letter writing tips

  • Hands on keyboardSay who you are, where you are from and the name of your Amnesty group - this shows that people of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities are concerned
  • Give brief details about each case at the start of your letter
  • Letters don't have to be long but they do need to be polite!
  • Stress that your concern is strictly about human rights - remember, Amnesty does not support or oppose any government or political system
