Pride 2012

Europride in London, July 2006A vibrant celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender life in the UK, Pride also makes an important political statement. At its core, Pride is about recognising and respecting the rights of all people to freely express their sexual identity without fear of discrimination or persecution.

Pride offers a unique opportunity for Amnesty International to express solidarity with LGBTI communities in the UK and highlight its long-term commitment to protecting the human rights of those communities around the world.

Pride celebrations in 2012

2012 sees London play's host to World Pride, under the theme of 'One World, One Pride, One Voice' and Amnesty will be there.  The season continues throughout the summer in cities across the UK. We're hoping this year's Pride events will be even more successful than ever, and hope you can join us there.

Join Amnesty at Pride!

We are looking for volunteers to help out at our Pride events, running stalls, giving out information to the general public, stewarding the float and a number of other activities. Email us at pride@amnesty.org.uk if you're interested in helping out.

If you are unable to commit to volunteering, then please do come along in support, visit the Amnesty stall and join the parade.
