Oh, my poor uncle! Cousin Abdelrazzak went to your flat. Your door was smashed in. He found broken glass, plant pots tipped over, drawers, books and papers all over the floor.

The old lady downstairs said that Army men had come with guns. They bumped you down the stairs. They were shouting. She said they took your notebooks. She said they threw a blanket over your head, and pushed you into a truck with black windows and no numbers, and drove you away. Then Mum started to cry. We are all so worried.

What happened, Uncle?
Was it the Police?
Where are you?
Are you safe?

I don't know if you'll get this letter, but I'm sending it anyway.

A big hug from all at 24 and your,

PS. Please come to my party. It's on Friday.
