Amnesty's Young Human Rights Campaigner awards celebrate young people taking action for human rights.
These new awards recognise the work of Amnesty youth groups across the UK and the impact of their campaigns on themselves and their school communities.
Find out more about Amnesty youth groups and how we can provide all the materials and support you need to start one in your school.
"Any teacher who is thinking of setting up a youth group, it's absolutely worth it... It's one of the things I'm most proud of."

Our aim to find the most effective, committed, inspiring and creative of Amnesty's youth groups. Our groups never cease to amaze us so we're excited to be able to reward them.
The Young Human Rights Campaigner Award awards are divided into four categories:
Best New Group: For groups which are new on the scene but already achieving great things or older groups that have been relatively inactive but are now blossoming.
Most Committed Group: For groups that have taken part in a wide range of Amnesty campaign activities over a sustained length of time showing outstanding dedication and commitment.
Best Campaign Activity: Recognising groups that have run an amazing Amnesty campaign which had a big impact within their school or beyond
Inspiring Youth Group Leader: For a teacher or school staff member who has displayed outstanding commitment and provided inspirational leadership to their group.
