Fifty years ago, Peter Benenson did something amazing when he and his friends set up Amnesty International.
Now it's your turn. In 2012, help us celebrate the past 50 years of Amnesty International by raising money to support our work for humanity and human rights in the future.
Here are three easy ideas to get you started.
1. Hold a birthday AmnesTea
Get your friends or colleagues together, bake us a birthday cake and drink tea for Amnesty. You can even blow out fifty birthday candles for us.
2. Challenge yourself
Do something awesome in the name of human rights this year. Jump from a plane, run a marathon or cycle further than you ever thought you could.

3. Pledge 50 hours for human rights
Take part in Amnesty Hours and pledge your time to do fifty things for friends, family and your local community in return for small donations to Amnesty.
