The contenders for the Raise-Off 2010 surpassed all our expectations and choosing the winners was tough. Together students raised an incredible £37,592.81 (almost double the total amount raised during the previous year,) so thank you so much for your dedication. 

Student fundraising is getting more and more creative each year, successfully linking in Amnesty campaigns and bringing in new members to your groups, all whilst raising awareness and money.

Best fundraisers: Warwick University
Warwick really raised the bar this year, having raised an incredible £11,352.26 from their jailbreak.
With special mentions to the runners-up Exeter, Cambridge and the University of Buckingham.

Amnesty balloons Most regular fundraisers: Exeter University
Exeter have organised no less than 12 events over the period of the year, raising £6,390.38.
With a special mention to Glasgow University for yet another year of incredible fundraising having organised 9 events raising £1,677.83.

Amnesty balloons Best fundraising event: University of Portsmouth
Portsmouth took the prize thanks to their fantastic Jamnesty events, which have raised £744.92.
With special mentions to Manchester for their 'Unshackled' events and to Edinburgh University for their successful Secret Policeman's Ball.

Amnesty balloons Best collaboration: University of Hull
Hull worked with their University's STAR society on their sponsored sleepout, and raised £585.96.
With special mentions to SOAS and LSE for their 'Open Mic, Open Minds' night and the University of Sussex for their Protect the Human party in collaboration with their circus society.
