Through A Matter of Life and Death lessons, assembly and films, students aged 14+ can explore the issues surrounding the use of the death penalty, one of Amnesty's oldest and most established campaigns.

Amnesty opposes the use of the death penalty in all cases and for all crimes, whether someone is innocent or guilty, but the aim of this resource is to support young people to form their own opinion by developing their knowledge, skills and values. If your students are inspired to take action, the Taking Action Project offers guidance to support them.

You will find all the resources here in English, Welsh and Arabic, plus information about the many ways you and your students can get more involved, from starting an Amnesty youth group at your school to joining our teacher's network.
