Amnesty is a member of the Free Wills Network, a scheme that allows Amnesty supporters to make their will free of charge at hundreds of participating solicitors across the UK. There's no obligation to leave a gift to Amnesty if you use this service, but we hope that you choose to do so.
Places are limited, so if you would like to make use of the Free Wills Network, please email legacy@amnesty.org.uk for further information.
If you would like to amend your existing will to include Amnesty, please download and complete a codicil form (pdf) and return it to your solicitor. The form includes details of how to refer to Amnesty in your will, including the registered charity number that you should quote.
If you have decided to leave a gift to Amnesty in your will, please let us know in complete confidence by completing our legacy pledge form online. We receive much less funding from legacies than many other organisations, so our legacy pledgers are very special to us - we would really like to write and thank you for your kindness.
If you are interested in leaving a charitable gift in your will but don't know your financial worth or whether you may be liable for inheritance tax, you can check that information online at the Remember a Charity website
