Why volunteer for Amnesty?
You will experience working for a major campaigning organisation and help us to make a difference. We run a volunteer programme in our offices in London, Edinburgh, Belfast and Cardiff. Volunteers are involved in a lot of different roles in campaigning, marketing, media and general support. So if you have time to give, come and join our voluntary programme.

Volunteer in our National/Regional offices
What we offer to volunteers
- Valuable and varied experience of work in the field of human rights
- Develop skills, knowledge and experience in computer literacy, dealing with public enquiries, office administration and team working
- Opportunity to be part of an exciting programme of work, making a real difference to people's lives
- Volunteers who have worked at Amnesty for three months or more may request a reference and advice on interview techniques etc, if applying for a job
- Volunteers can claim travel expenses within their national office's area and luncheon vouchers for the days they work.
What we expect from volunteers
- To commit for at least three months
- To carry out work in line with Amnesty's aims and objectives
