Primary school pack launched

Learning about human rights in the primary school 105x150Education Minister Leighton Andrews and Keith Towler, Children's Commissioner for Wales, launched our free, bilingual pack for primary schools in Wales at the Model C.I.W. School, Carmarthen.

The interactive lessons are the first educational materials designed for 5 to 11 year olds to help teachers begin to explore human rights in primary schools - focusing on fairness, freedom and the rights of young children. The pack encourages young children to think about others and contains creative suggestions to bring human rights to life through artistic projects.
