Company giving

Company giving

Amnesty welcomes support from companies and their employees, especially those with a commitment to upholding and promoting human rights.  By working in partnership with Amnesty, you and your company can help us make a stand for humanity and human rights.

Our corporate partners make a vital contribution to our work and benefit from association with our trusted and respected name. Working with us will also demonstrate your company's commitment to corporate social responsibility, a factor that will resonate with consumers, clients and employees alike.

Making a company gift

As we are a registered charity (No. 1051681), corporate gifts usually qualify for tax relief - meaning that charitable donations can be deducted from the total profits of your business when calculating corporation tax. There is no need to make a Gift Aid repayment claim because no tax has been paid. For more information see Inland Revenue website.

There are a number of other ways your company can support Amnesty's work. Your company could:

    • Sponsor an Amnesty event
    • Nominate us as your charity of the year
    • Develop a cause-related marketing programme
    • Offer payroll giving to your employees
    • Encourage your employees to fundraise on our behalf
    • Helping us by donating gifts in kind
    • Operate a matched giving scheme

We would be delighted to offer more information about how your company could work in partnership with us in any of these ways.
