Human rights aren’t always easy to understand.

And they don’t just apply to political prisoners and armed conflict. They’re also about you. Your work. Your home and family. Your right to education.

Even when you don’t see them, human rights are busy at work protecting you, your family and friends. 

Amnesty International works in Scotland and across the UK to make sure all of our rights are protected so we can live free from discrimination and injustice. Free to be ourselves and thrive.  

The Scottish Government is in the process of bringing more human rights into law, and it’s really important that everyone knows what’s going on. 

You have a role in this fight. A chance to ensure everyone knows and cherishes these rights.
