Saïd and Khaled are two young men living an aimless life in the West Bank city of Nablus, a battle scarred and derelict place riddled with checkpoints and the occasional explosion. Just as a chance meeting with a young woman, Suha, seems to promise a potentially better life for Saïd, he's approached by Jamal, a representative of a Palestinian resistance group.

System of a Down are an award winning heavy metal band from Los Angeles. Three of the four band members are Armenian by origin , and they have turned their concerts into a form of lobbying, with the aim of persuading governments around the world to recognise the 1915 Turkish massacres of Armenians as genocide.
